Job Summary

The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a part-time Travel and Event Coordinator to support the Environmental Data Science Innovation & Inclusion Lab (ESIIL) within the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES). This role will coordinate travel arrangements for ESIIL working group members and event participants, ensuring a seamless experience while adhering to University travel policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for ESIIL event participants, including flights, hotels, and transportation.
  • Provide personalized travel information and updates to travelers.
  • Interpret travel guidelines for travelers based on funding initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule ESIIL events, providing day-of support and troubleshooting logistical problems.
  • Review events and solicit feedback to improve event workflows and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management, human resources, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook calendar software, Zoom, and Google Suite.
  • Proven dedication to equity and inclusion and the ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work with a large volume of information, multitask, problem-solve, and meet timelines.
