Position Overview

The Department of the Navy is seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our capabilities in developing sophisticated system architectures that address challenges in the electromagnetic spectrum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the creation and design of system architectures tailored for naval prototypes, focusing on command, control, and communications (C3) capabilities.
  • Analyze and break down intricate requirements from various stakeholders to develop effective system concepts.
  • Conduct thorough research and devise strategies to incorporate emerging technologies, addressing a dynamic range of capabilities and applications.
Employment Conditions

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and meet specific federal employment criteria, including participation in the direct deposit pay program. Successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment drug test and must maintain the required security clearance.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates should possess a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, demonstrating expertise in:

  • Developing architectural frameworks and specialized products for Command, Control, and Communications.
  • Supporting electromagnetic security initiatives.
  • Integrating advanced technologies to solve complex engineering challenges.
Educational Requirements

Applicants must have a professional engineering degree from an accredited institution or meet other educational criteria as outlined by the Office of Personnel Management.
