Position OverviewRole Summary

ASRC Federal Holding Company is in search of a highly experienced and driven Senior Systems Engineering Manager to spearhead initiatives related to the architecture, development, integration, evaluation, and operational support services for our advanced systems. This pivotal role will involve collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including defense organizations and military branches, to enhance command and control capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Direct and manage all facets of systems engineering, including design, integration, testing, and operational support for designated projects.
  2. Offer expert knowledge in areas such as engineering evaluation, cybersecurity protocols, modeling and simulation, and requirements oversight to facilitate experimentation and simulated operational scenarios.
  3. Engage in system capabilities and interfaces, focusing on areas such as Sensors, Radio Frequency (RF), Command and Control (C2), networks, and weapon systems.
  4. Guarantee that systems adhere to the highest standards of quality and security, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations.
  5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and maintain comprehensive system life cycle support, from initial requirements to ongoing maintenance.
  6. Lead configuration management initiatives to uphold accurate documentation and version control.
  7. Provide logistical support, including procurement of equipment, and coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery.
  8. Design and implement training programs for end-users and support staff.
  9. Oversee maintenance operations to ensure systems function at optimal performance.
  10. Assist in deployment efforts to ensure effective implementation and operation of systems.
Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; a Master's degree is preferred.

  1. A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), encompassing technology assessment, system specification development, systems analysis, architecture, integration, evaluation criteria, and logistics support. Recognized as a specialist in C4ISR projects.

  1. Extensive knowledge of Sensors, Radio Frequency (RF), Command and Control (C2), networks, and weapon systems.
  2. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
  3. Expertise in engineering analysis, modeling and simulation, and requirements management.
  4. Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  5. Proven capability to work collaboratively within a team and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  6. Experience in supporting the deployment and operationalization of systems.
  7. Possession of an active Top Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
