Overview:

GovCIO is seeking a skilled Radio Frequency Systems Engineer to deliver engineering expertise for the Fixed Submarine Broadcast System initiative.

This role is primarily onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide installation and technical proficiency in research, design, development, commissioning, testing, and evaluation, which includes: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specifications, System Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support for C4ISR requirements related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high-powered broadcast systems.


Recognized as a specialist in design, field modification, testing, and evaluation of FVLF/LF transmitters, antennas, and antenna tuning systems, the senior engineer will oversee commissioning and lead significant modifications of the current generation of FVLF/LF radio transmitters.

Proficiency in analog circuit design, circuit analysis software, RF circuit theory and operation, along with experience using MultiSIM or PSPICE is essential. Conduct intricate alignment and calibration procedures to ensure efficient operation of transmitter systems. Troubleshoot and resolve system operational issues through fault isolation.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required. This position is primarily onsite with occasional remote work opportunities.

At least 15 years of experience in research, design, development, commissioning, testing, and evaluation, including:

Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specifications, System Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support for C4ISR requirements related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high-powered broadcast systems.

Experience in analog circuit design, circuit analysis software, RF circuit theory and operation, and familiarity with MultiSIM or PSPICE is mandatory.

Posted Pay Range: The anticipated pay range reflects the expected compensation for this position at the start of employment; however, the actual base pay offered may vary based on various individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

The total compensation package may also include additional compensation elements, which will be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position," and GovCIO reserves the right to adjust base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.


Posted Salary Range:
USD $124,000 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
