Location: Seattle, Washington

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Accounting.
- 7 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- 3 years of preferred supervisory experience.

Proficient understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Strong analytical and accounting capabilities.
Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, as well as Blackline and Oracle/PBCS systems.
Advanced expertise in major accounting software for general ledger management.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively, embracing challenging tasks.

The individual is expected to operate with minimal initial guidance and take ownership of their deliverables. They will collaborate closely with key functional leaders across the organization.

Work Environment:
Exposure to computer screens.
Hybrid work schedule required, with at least 3 days per week in the office.
Typical noise levels in the work environment are moderate.
Job functions are generally performed in a climate-controlled office setting.

Key Responsibilities:


Oversee the development and maintenance of precise and timely accounting and financial principles, practices, and procedures for budgeting, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.

Manage a team of accounting professionals to establish and uphold accounting systems, practices, and controls that adhere to accepted accounting processes.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Contribute to achieving accounting objectives by providing relevant accounting information and recommendations for strategic planning and reviews.
Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial data.
Collaborate with other finance department managers to support overall departmental goals and objectives.

Monitor and assess departmental work to develop more efficient procedures and resource utilization while maintaining high accuracy levels.

Assist in the creation and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance departmental workflow.
Safeguard financial integrity by establishing internal controls.
Provide training to new and existing staff as necessary.
Analyze complex financial reports and records.
Direct internal and external audits to ensure consistent compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
