Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Operations Manager to oversee multiple properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving ownership objectives, implementing management policies, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws.

The Community Operations Manager will supervise property staff and vendors, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining property aesthetics, and managing proactive maintenance efforts. This role also involves safeguarding the financial health of the properties and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor property staff to deliver outstanding service.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets in alignment with ownership goals.
  • Analyze financial statements and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure timely completion of resident income certifications.
  • Oversee leasing operations and enforce tenant compliance.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with corporate departments and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in multi-family property management.
  • Experience in affordable housing and compliance paperwork preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in technology and property management software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Yardi or similar software.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
