UH-60 L/M Standardization Flight Instructor

Job Overview:
M1 Support Services is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Standardization Pilot for the UH-60 L/M helicopter fleet. This role involves overseeing and executing flight operations to ensure compliance with established performance work statement (PWS) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plans and manages test flight operations for the UH-60 fleet.
- Enforces standard operating procedures in alignment with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Army directives, and company policies.
- Conducts flight duties while maintaining required currency and proficiency as per applicable service guidelines and FAA regulations.
- Continuously seeks to enhance operational efficiency, reduce cycle times, and optimize workflow processes.
- Cultivates a culture focused on safety, quality assurance, and professionalism within the team.
- Ensures adequate staffing, technical resources, and equipment are available to fulfill PWS obligations.
- Monitors employee attendance, approves timecards, and manages overtime assignments.
- Implements company policies regarding employee promotion, training, discipline, and termination.
- Verifies that team members possess the necessary qualifications and certifications for their roles.
Qualifications:
- Must have completed the U.S. Army Maintenance Test Pilot Course or an equivalent evaluation.
- Must have graduated from the U.S. Army UH-60L/M Instructor Pilot Course or an equivalent evaluation.
- A minimum of 1,000 flight hours as pilot in command in helicopters, with at least 500 hours in the UH-60 L/M is required.
- Valid and current FAA Commercial Pilot certification with Instrument rating in helicopters is mandatory, along with a valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- Must meet pilot qualification standards as per Army regulations and FAA instrument certification requirements.
- High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required by PWS.
- Proficient computer skills are essential.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Capability to navigate within aircraft hangars and on ramps in proximity to operational equipment and aircraft.
- Must demonstrate reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to manage stressful situations while maintaining professionalism.
