Job Overview

Avyon Consulting Group is looking for a Senior Military Aviation Consultant to provide expertise in support of advanced military aviation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in military aviation operations, particularly in flight and combat scenarios.
  • Experience as a Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) in advanced aircraft such as the AH-64D/E or Kiowa Warrior.
  • Extensive knowledge of current Army Aviation weaponry, including Hydra 70 rockets and HELLFIRE missiles.
  • Background in Attack or Assault Battalion Staff operations.
  • Proven track record in capability management and combat development.
  • Experience in organizing and facilitating Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Leadership experience in conducting aviation studies and operational testing.
  • Expertise in developing capabilities and assessing technologies.
Qualifications

The candidate must have:

  • Experience in authoring Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) approved JCIDS documents.
  • Participation in Army Aviation Capability Based Assessments (CBA) for attack or reconnaissance aircraft.
  • Strong skills in acquisition processes and requirements documentation.
