Job Title: Director of Global Retail Channel Strategy

HP is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to lead our global retail channel strategy and planning function within our channel sales organization. As Director of Global Retail Channel Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive retail channel strategy that drives business growth, improves profitability, and enhances customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a global retail channel strategy that aligns with HP's business objectives and priorities.
  • Lead a team of professionals to plan, execute, and measure the effectiveness of retail channel initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and integration of retail channel strategies.
  • Provide strategic direction and input on partner programs, growth plans, and associated initiatives to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership in the retail channel space, shaping the knowledge base and best practices within the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, partners, and stakeholders to influence strategic direction and drive business results.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure effective resource allocation and optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market research to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in retail channel leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a technology retail company.
  • Proven track record of achieving planned financial results, driving business growth, and improving profitability.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and execution management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • MBA or advanced university degree, with a focus on business, marketing, or a related field.
