Patient Safety Assistant Coordinator

Job Summary:
R&K Enterprise Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Assistant Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Safety Assistant Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Patient Safety Program at our client's medical facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the Patient Safety Program, including data analysis and risk reduction strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify and mitigate risks to patient care.
- Develop and implement proactive approaches to enhance and sustain patient safety.
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to inform patient safety initiatives.
- Support the development of performance improvement projects and initiatives.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to healthcare staff on patient safety best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient safety policies and procedures.
- Support the collection and analysis of patient safety data.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to promote patient safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of The Joint Commission's accreditation standards and patient safety initiatives.
