We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Risk Management Coordinator to join our team at St. Bernardine Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with event reporting, investigation, and review, as well as root cause analysis and coordination of Risk Management/Patient Safety activities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with event reporting, investigation, and review
- Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate Risk Management/Patient Safety activities
- Maintain data management systems for Risk/Patient Safety programs
- Participate in system office initiatives and programs to mitigate identified risks
- Coordinate claim team requests and collaborate with stakeholders to implement learnings from claims
- Oversee coordination of all legal documents and meetings related to hospital liability
- Minimum of two years experience in an acute care setting with experience in quality management, case management, patient relations/safety risk management, or related areas
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Expert Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
