Warehouse Supervisor

This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, focusing on team development, cost management, and overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse. You will report directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager of the Delivery Center.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
Providing training and support through practical teaching and coaching aligned with our Company values.

Executing and facilitating the daily preparation and staging of merchandise for home delivery.

Ensuring that truck preparation lanes are organized and ready for loading.

Maintaining accuracy in both physical and digital inventory records.

Implementing Standard Operating Procedures related to inventory management effectively.

Overseeing the processes involved in prepping and loading trucks.

Communicating any damages to the Office Operations Supervisor to ensure proper customer notification and documentation.

Managing and training staff on a consistent wrapping process for all inventory.

Promoting damage prevention by sharing damage data and coaching team members on root causes.

Ensuring daily compliance with safety requirements, including the use of proper safety gear.

Striving for operational excellence by adhering to company standards to maintain a clean and organized facility.

Key qualifications for success:
A high school diploma or GED; or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.

Previous experience in leading teams of up to 10 associates is preferred.

Strong talent assessment and coaching skills.

Effective delegation and communication abilities across all levels within the Delivery Center.

Familiarity with furniture delivery standards is advantageous.

Flexibility to meet the demands of the business, including evenings and weekends.

A track record of prioritizing team goals and serving others.

Ownership mentality:
Exhibits a sense of responsibility for all aspects of the role while empowering others to take initiative.

Adaptability to changing market conditions and shifting priorities.

Job Type:
Full-time

Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
