SUMMARY:

This role necessitates familiarity with the production environment, CICS, JDA, and warehouse management systems.

Job Overview:

Oversee the production areas to ensure a consistent flow of products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate training for new team members.
  • Maintain clear and precise records and logs.
  • Evaluate documents prepared by team members for accuracy and clarity.
  • Monitor the performance of team members within the group.
  • Open and/or secure the facility as directed.
  • Report unsafe conditions to management if they cannot be corrected independently.
  • Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to team members.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Effectively communicate with both management and team members.
  • Carry out other responsibilities as directed by the Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Understanding of safety requirements and regulations (OSHA).
  • Ability to make objective decisions.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and interviewing skills.
  • Conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Staff management; requires adaptability and understanding that all staff may need to perform duties outside their usual area of expertise to achieve the goals of the warehouse.
  • Ability to respond to situations promptly and professionally.
  • Energetic and highly motivated to achieve success.
  • Regular attendance at the assigned work facility.
  • Fluency in English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to communicate effectively, stand and walk for extended periods, and frequently bend, stoop, and kneel. The employee is often required to walk, reach with hands, and lift with arms, shoulders, and legs. The employee may occasionally need to sit, climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

All work time is spent in a warehouse setting where temperatures may vary seasonally.
