Position Overview:

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will support management in overseeing the warehouse team and its activities, including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment, ensuring that products are processed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely execution of all warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with supervisors on orders that have conflicting or insufficient information.
  • Keep customer service updated on any shipment delays.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for export shipments.
  • Provide freight estimates and generate freight Bills of Lading.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to relevant parties.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff to uphold departmental standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading dock, cold storage, and inventory zones.
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization within the warehouse.
  • Assess warehouse processes and implement improvements.
  • Perform various warehouse tasks as required, including receiving, picking, and inventory reviews.
  • Maintain effective communication with manufacturing, assembly, and shipping teams to ensure timely supply distribution.
  • Adhere to departmental standards for attendance, efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Follow established safety protocols, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
  • Assist in developing and updating departmental Standard Operating Procedures and forms as necessary.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations; leadership experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instructions.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to respond to inquiries from various organizational levels.
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential.
  • Certification in forklift operation is required.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Good housekeeping practices to keep inventory organized and clean.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are expected.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic and adaptability in a rapidly evolving organization.
Physical Requirements:

The role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-12 hours) and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching. Moderate physical demands include lifting and moving average weights (up to 50 lbs) and occasionally heavier items (up to 70 lbs) with assistance.
