Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive and results-oriented individual to fill the role of Logistics Operations Supervisor.

This position is crucial to our manufacturing processes, ensuring the seamless and effective movement of products, from initial materials to completed goods.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in overseeing warehouse functions, fleet management, safety protocols, inventory control, and shipping and receiving operations. A minimum of 3+ years in a comparable position within the manufacturing sector is required.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Operations Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and directing all logistics functions, including warehouse operations, fleet management, safety compliance, inventory oversight, and shipping and receiving.
  • Establishing and enforcing safety measures to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Creating and executing effective inventory management strategies to avoid stock shortages and surplus.
  • Overseeing shipping and receiving activities to guarantee timely distribution of products and materials.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Identifying logistical challenges and devising innovative solutions.
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure prompt delivery of goods and services.
  • Preparing and delivering performance reports to senior management.
  • Implementing continuous improvement strategies to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations governing logistics and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Logistics Operations Supervisor role should meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing warehouse operations, fleet, safety, inventory, shipping, and receiving.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and inventory management software.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
