Director of Student Access and Success

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic enrollment leader to join our team as the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in shaping the future of our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategic Planning
- Provide visionary leadership to the enrollment management function, developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve institutional goals.
- Supervise and lead a team of professionals responsible for admissions, financial aid, and student access and success initiatives.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve enrollment goals.
- Tactical Oversight for Enrollment Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enrollment management plan, leveraging data and analytics to inform strategic decisions.
- Chair the Enrollment Management Council, providing leadership and guidance to ensure effective collaboration across departments.
- Foster partnerships with key stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external organizations, to promote student access and success.
- Recruitment and Retention Goals
- Leverage financial aid and scholarship funds to meet recruitment and retention goals, ensuring alignment with institutional mission and values.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student retention and graduation rates, working closely with faculty and staff to identify and address barriers to success.
- Development and Implementation of Recruitment
- Inform the development and implementation of the institution's comprehensive recruitment program, including market segmentation, promotional strategies, and recruitment tactics.
- Collaborate with the Department of Communications and Marketing to coordinate marketing efforts and assess effectiveness.
- Special Projects
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives, working closely with senior leadership to identify and address institutional priorities.
- Participate in division, campus, and university committees, serving as a representative of the enrollment management function.
- Education
- Masters degree required; Doctoral degree preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a college or university setting, with progressively increased responsibility in enrollment management or related fields.
- Skills
- Outstanding skills in communication, networking, relationship development, budget management, and team building.
- Education
- Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience
- Seven to ten years of related experience in enrollment management at the level of director or higher.

- Sophisticated understanding of the applications of technology to the functions of enrollment management.
