Maine's Public Universities is in search of a passionate Engagement Coordinator for Prospective Students to enhance our proactive Admissions team. This full-time role is essential in building relationships with potential students and their support systems through a combination of on-campus initiatives and digital outreach strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outreach Strategy: Spearhead outreach initiatives for prospective students, families, and educational advisors through campus tours, informational sessions, and various recruitment events, ensuring a smooth enrollment journey.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute both large and small-scale campus events, managing logistics to align with recruitment and enrollment objectives.
  • Communication Oversight: Work closely with the Assistant Director of Enrollment Communications to develop integrated communication strategies across multiple media platforms, ensuring data accuracy within CRM systems and other software tools.
  • Data Management: Oversee data collection from diverse sources to inform strategic decisions and improve outreach effectiveness to prospective students.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of proven experience in event planning and organizational roles.
  • One to two years of experience in managing communications or program initiatives.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience in the higher education sector, particularly in admissions or enrollment management.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce software and programming skills in SQL and HTML.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: Competitive, typically in the low 40s, based on experience.
  • Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including holidays, vacation, sick leave, health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition waiver program, and a retirement plan with a university contribution.
