Coordinator for Graduate Student Outreach

Job Summary
The Graduate School is seeking a dedicated professional to enhance its visibility and attract prospective students. This role is crucial in driving enrollment growth and fostering relationships with potential candidates.
The selected individual will be responsible for initiating and coordinating recruitment initiatives that elevate the profile of the Graduate School. This includes representing the institution at various recruitment events, both on and off-campus, and facilitating campus visits for prospective students.
The Recruitment Specialist will collaborate closely with academic departments and external institutions to create a robust recruitment strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Events: Organize and manage visits for prospective students, attend recruitment fairs, and represent the Graduate School professionally.
- Prospective Student Engagement: Actively engage with potential students to promote the Graduate School's offerings, coordinating meetings and maintaining communication.
- Research and Networking: Stay informed on recruitment trends, build relationships with undergraduate institutions, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Marketing Initiatives: Work with marketing teams to develop campaigns that enhance the Graduate School's brand and visibility.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution along with three years of relevant experience is required. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred qualifications include a background in marketing or business, and familiarity with relevant databases and software.
Additional Information
This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel for recruitment purposes. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment, ensuring a positive experience for all prospective students.
