Senior Principal, IT Program Leadership & Delivery Management

Position Overview:

This role is situated within our corporate headquarters and offers a hybrid work model, allowing for remote work up to three days a week.

Your Responsibilities:

The Senior Principal, Program Leadership position will primarily concentrate on our global Flexible Subscription Engine initiative. This strategic global project aims to enhance the automation of our existing and future installment licensing and subscription business, representing over $3 billion in potential revenue with an annual growth rate exceeding 30%. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of the Digital PMO, this role is integral to the core digital project management office.

The Senior Principal will collaborate with teams engaged in SAP S/4 HANA, Ingram Micro's CloudBlue platform, legacy systems integration, architecture, infrastructure, security, and data management. Furthermore, this position will involve cross-functional collaboration with global business leaders, our international business process team, and change management efforts.

Regular communication with senior leadership across business, digital strategy, and technology is essential, necessitating strong executive presentation skills.

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Principal Program Manager, whose main focus will be to liaise with Global Digital and eCommerce stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of priority programs and projects within the Global Services Platform portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate systemic thinking capabilities, and be proficient in software applications and major ERP systems.

Key Duties Include:

  • Planning and supporting the overall strategy for the Flexible Subscription Engine, advocating for the direction and guidelines established by the Executive Director of the Digital PMO among various Digital and Business teams to ensure alignment and eliminate delivery obstacles.
  • Providing reporting and metrics for the global PMO office, overseeing governance for software development processes, including team efficiency, Scrum compliance, and program/project progress.
  • Establishing and managing project management processes, collaborating with teams to fulfill commitments required for Tollgate process approvals.
  • Engaging in the company's strategic three-year roadmap planning and monitoring execution by interacting with stakeholders on a monthly or quarterly basis, as dictated by organizational governance.
  • Maintaining constant communication and collaboration with both business and technical leads to ensure accountability for project delivery.
  • Assisting with risk, change, and dependency management.
  • Providing periodic status updates on project processes to all stakeholders.
  • Organizing and managing data from all teams, communicating factual status updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitating UAT approvals in a timely manner with all necessary stakeholders.
  • Understanding roles and responsibilities within agile software development environments.
  • Tracking initiative or program budgets and streamlining processes for monthly budget tracking.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with an IT focus is required; a Master's Degree is preferred. The candidate should have over 12 years of relevant IT experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager, with at least 4 years as a Program Manager, overseeing a portfolio of global enterprise projects.

Proficiency in Confluence, Microsoft Teams, MS Office Suite, Visio, MS Project, Jira, and related collaboration tools is essential. Experience with globally distributed scrum teams and matrixed cross-functional teams is required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, and Automated Testing, is highly valued.

The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to influence stakeholders effectively. Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and the ability to negotiate priorities among diverse teams are crucial.

Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are preferred. Experience with SAP S/4 HANA BRIM in multi-country implementations is a plus.
