As a vital member of the program management team, the PM will lead essential product development initiatives, ensuring that requirements are meticulously evaluated, risks are effectively managed, timelines are adhered to, and technical insights are provided during commercial negotiations.
In this capacity, the PM will collaborate closely with both internal and external engineering teams to prioritize, coordinate, and facilitate product design, testing, verification, integration, deployment, and troubleshooting processes.
They will guide cross-functional teams to concentrate on the most pressing technical challenges by maintaining a comprehensive view of the overall business objectives.
They will prepare concise and insightful program summaries for presentation to internal and external executive management during regular business reviews.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the business development team in launching new programs for clients, which includes drafting technical proposals, creating product white papers, and estimating development timelines.
Facilitate engineering teams in reviewing and assessing both internal and external product specifications to finalize requirements. Coordinate cross-functional teams to establish program timelines and critical milestones, including design evaluations, prototype development, pilot production, and product delivery.Conduct regular program meetings and specialized workshops to monitor action items, identify critical paths, mitigate risks, and resolve technical challenges.
Oversee the master program timeline by tracking deliverables, benchmarking milestones, coordinating communications, addressing delays, and managing unforeseen issues. Summarize program progress for a diverse range of stakeholders, from engineers to executive management.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Fundamental understanding of Satellite Communication systems with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Satellite Communication sector. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Background in electrical, mechanical, or software engineering is essential. Experience with hardware or software design, development, and integration in the SatCom domain.
Proven program management capabilities in environments characterized by technical and business uncertainties.Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with individuals across language barriers and interact with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Excellent written communication skills, with the capacity to adapt presentation styles for various audiences. A self-driven and committed individual demonstrating outstanding creative and critical thinking skills, along with exceptional attention to detail.Proven documentation skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project) to prepare internal and external documents.
SALARY RANGE:
$135,000 to $150,000 annually, plus benefits.
