Position Summary: The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving significant product development initiatives, ensuring that all requirements are meticulously evaluated, risks are effectively managed, and project timelines are adhered to. The Program Management Specialist will also contribute technical insights during commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the business development team to initiate new projects, including the preparation of technical proposals and product documentation.
  • Facilitate engineering team discussions to review and finalize product specifications.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to establish project timelines and key milestones, including design assessments and product launches.
  • Organize regular program meetings and workshops to monitor progress, identify critical paths, and address technical challenges.
  • Maintain the master project timeline by tracking deliverables and managing communications to mitigate potential delays.
  • Provide comprehensive updates on program status to stakeholders, ranging from technical teams to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fundamental knowledge of satellite communication systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the satellite communication sector.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Background in electrical, mechanical, or software engineering.
  • Experience in the design, development, and integration of satellite communication hardware or software.
  • Proven program management capabilities in environments characterized by technical and business complexities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project).
