Belmont Village Senior Living is a leading provider of senior living communities, known for our high standard of operating, exceptional care, long tenured teams, innovative and award-winning memory enrichment programming, and hospitality-oriented services.
Job Summary
The Executive Director in Training (EDIT) participates in a 12-month comprehensive training program to learn the role of a Senior Living Executive Director. This training is conducted under the direction of an experienced Belmont Village Executive Director Preceptor at an assigned Belmont Village assisted living & memory care community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the ED Preceptor through completion of assigned duties with progressive responsibility within the community.
- Gain proficiency in all areas of community operation, including Regulatory Compliance, Customer Service & Satisfaction, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Sales, Care & Service Plan Development, and Management of the Community Operating Budget.
- Participate in rotational training assignments within the assigned community under the direction of the ED Preceptor.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in senior living, healthcare or hospitality.
- Ability to obtain a state administrator's licensure by the end of the training program.
- Associates Degree required / Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24-hour operation, including early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Training will take place in one of our California, Austin, or Chicagoland area Senior Living Communities.
- Participants must be open and willing to relocate following the training for their first assignment as Assistant Executive Director or Executive Director to any market in which Belmont Village operates.
