Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of technology? We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to spearhead the development of innovative Proactive AI solutions that redefine the capabilities of virtual assistants and companions.

Your Role

As a key player in our organization, you will be at the forefront of integrating Generative AI into Amazon's offerings. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to guide the execution of programs that serve millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement critical initiatives across various departments, including engineering, science, product management, and user experience.
  • Develop effective frameworks to enhance program management, ensuring seamless coordination and providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Exhibit strong communication abilities to articulate complex decisions and solutions across different levels of the organization.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate challenges that arise during program execution, collaborating with project managers and technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Foster relationships and influence stakeholders within a matrix organization to tackle intricate AI challenges under tight deadlines.
  • Define and promote best practices in Program Management to elevate the overall execution standards of our team.
  • Oversee a pipeline of customer-related issues and feature requests to enhance the functionality of our AI systems.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering.
  • 7+ years in technical product or program management.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven track record in managing programs across cross-functional teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience managing complex technology projects.
  • Experience in overseeing projects across diverse teams, creating sustainable processes, and managing release timelines.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the labor market across various US regions. The base salary for this position ranges significantly based on geographic location and is influenced by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
