Position Overview:

The Senior Aerospace Program Coordinator is responsible for conducting comprehensive analyses of complex and diverse scopes while managing programs or significant portions of programs to ensure the fulfillment of obligations, performance objectives, and effective cost control.

This role involves a variety of Export and Import responsibilities related to products governed by relevant regulations. The coordinator ensures compliance with all applicable export and import policies and procedures, and may perform audits of various manufacturing sites to confirm adherence and identify training needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and define program requirements or conduct in-depth studies to determine optimal program plans.
2. Monitor and report on performance against established plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved.
3. Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends using program management software.
4. Coordinate cross-functional development of project plans and programs, interfacing with suppliers and customers as necessary to fulfill project obligations.
5. Initiate business contacts and correspondence, preparing required documentation to maintain accurate records of program compliance.

Continuous Improvement:
Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance internal processes and systems, aiming to increase efficiency and customer service while reducing costs. May lead or participate in special project teams.

Professional Development:
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional associations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and aerospace industry regulations, advising management on necessary actions.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, providing both theoretical and practical knowledge.
2. A minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in program administration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. In-depth knowledge of program administration principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies.
2. Ability to assess and implement continuous improvement principles effectively.
3. Proficient in standard business applications software, with the ability to establish program plans and report status using program management tools.

This position is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for export compliance.
