Position Overview
We are looking for a personable and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will be tasked with welcoming clients, managing incoming communications, coordinating schedules, procuring office supplies, and providing general administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Address inquiries related to HUD Section 8 rental assistance and assist with landlord/tenant and social service agency questions.
- Manage incoming correspondence and ensure proper distribution to relevant specialists.
- Continuously update and maintain system information.
- Support caseworkers by preparing necessary documentation, including Request for Tenancy Approval forms and leases.
- Assist the public in completing pre-applications and scheduling appointments as needed.
- Oversee tracking of damage and unreported income claims.
- Facilitate payment processing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years' experience with word processing software.
- Typing proficiency of at least 65 words per minute.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Two years of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to meet departmental objectives.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong knowledge of spelling, punctuation, composition, and standard office procedures and equipment.
Compensation:
$17.00 per hour
