ROLE OVERVIEW:
Malt Production Technicians play a crucial role in the malting process, ensuring the highest quality of malt ingredients. Responsibilities include the cleaning and movement of grains, operation of malting equipment, and conducting quality tests on finished products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to all safety and operational policies, including Risk Assessments and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal and team performance, demonstrating self-direction and initiative.
  • Effectively communicate process knowledge and changes with team members and management through various communication channels.
  • Utilize computer skills to monitor and control daily operations, including proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and process control systems.
  • Engage in facility management programs and contribute to safety and personal development initiatives.
  • Execute sanitation tasks using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on processing equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Support the movement of products through the malting process while adhering to quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Previous experience in production or food processing is preferred.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity through adherence to operational excellence standards.
  • Proficient in computer applications necessary for monitoring operations.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including lifting and working in various environments.
  • Understanding of process equipment and basic mechanical troubleshooting is advantageous.
