Pediatric Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Jobot. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children in our residential programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform intake assessments on all clients, including reviewing referral information, conducting physical assessments, and completing intake documentation.
  • Assess children's physical complaints and provide appropriate follow-up, including giving instructions to direct care staff.
  • Manage prescription medication for our clients.
  • Oversee crisis management incidents under PRFT regulations.
  • Share on-call duties with other Medical Department staff.
  • Coordinate medical and dental appointments, transporting children to physicians and specialists as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with CPR certification.
  • Minimum of Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One or more years' experience in the mental health field preferred.
