Pediatric Psychiatric Nursing Practice Manager

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Psychiatric Advanced Practice Manager to join our team at Rhode Island Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of evidence-based programs of care for pediatric psychiatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement patient-specific and population-based programs of care
- Contribute to clinical excellence in patient care through consulting, research, teaching, and leadership
- Participate in hospital quality goals that drive practice
- Facilitate new hire support and preceptor support
- Partner with clinical management team in recruitment and retention efforts
- Provide expert clinical consultation and resource to nurses and nurse leaders
- Contribute to development of the CPPI departmental strategic plan
- Master's degree in Nursing with an academic focus on clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing administration
- Current license to practice in the state of Rhode Island required
- APRN license or advanced certification preferred
- Minimum of three years of relevant pediatric clinical experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
The successful candidate will be able to sit, stand, and walk intermittently throughout the day. Exposure to patient care environments is required.
