Position Overview: The Pediatric Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering home-based healthcare services tailored for children and their families, as part of a comprehensive program aimed at improving health outcomes for young children from birth to six years old. This program is designed to support families in achieving better health and safety standards while facilitating successful reunification for those involved with child welfare services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid RN license issued by the appropriate health authority.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program recognized by the relevant board.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in pediatric nursing, public health, or community health services.
  • At least three years of experience working directly with young children and their families.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance are required.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
  • Bilingual candidates will receive an additional compensation of 6% above the base salary.

Continuing Education Obligations:

  • Ongoing education as required to maintain licensure and adhere to health department standards.
  • Engagement in regular performance evaluations, including the establishment and review of professional goals.
  • Participation in additional training sessions as mandated by the health department.
