Role Summary: The Pediatric Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering home-based healthcare services tailored for children and their families. This position is part of a family-oriented initiative aimed at fostering health and safety outcomes for young children from birth to six years old, while also supporting families involved with child welfare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with established health programs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including licensed clinicians and community health workers.
- Engage with families to ensure they receive the necessary support and resources.
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure issued by the appropriate state health authority.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by the board.
- A minimum of three years of experience in pediatric nursing, public health, or community health settings.
- Experience working with young children and their families is essential.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Current certification in CPR.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of families.
- Bilingual candidates will receive an additional compensation of 6% above the base salary.
Continuing Education:
- Engagement in ongoing education to maintain licensure and adhere to state health standards.
- Participation in regular performance evaluations and professional development planning.
- Completion of any additional training mandated by state health authorities.
