Position Overview

Role Summary: The Pediatric Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering home-based healthcare services tailored for children and their families. This position is part of a family-oriented initiative aimed at fostering health and safety outcomes for young children from birth to six years old, while also supporting families involved with child welfare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with established health programs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including licensed clinicians and community health workers.
  • Engage with families to ensure they receive the necessary support and resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure issued by the appropriate state health authority.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by the board.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in pediatric nursing, public health, or community health settings.
  • Experience working with young children and their families is essential.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of families.
  • Bilingual candidates will receive an additional compensation of 6% above the base salary.

Continuing Education:

  • Engagement in ongoing education to maintain licensure and adhere to state health standards.
  • Participation in regular performance evaluations and professional development planning.
  • Completion of any additional training mandated by state health authorities.
