The Employment Program Manager I will take charge of supervising, planning, and fostering a positive work atmosphere while managing Wagner-Peyser programs within a designated unit of the Orange County Cluster team. As an integral member of the management team, you will contribute to the formulation and execution of goals, objectives, policies, and standards that align with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

According to the Governor's Office of California, the Employment Development Department is recognized as an essential entity. This role necessitates local in-person responsibilities, although some telework may be permitted. The office adheres to the recommended safety protocols set forth by health authorities.

Work Environment

Visa Sponsorship

This position does not qualify for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship by the employment start date.

Travel, including occasional overnight trips, is part of the role. Participation in outdoor events and occasional evening or weekend commitments may also be necessary.
