Job Title: Front Office Manager

At Spire Hospitality, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee all Front Office Operations. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong focus on profitability, cost control, and quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate front office personnel, including staffing, training, discipline, scheduling, and performance monitoring to ensure adherence to service and productivity standards.
  • Check and control room reservations, front office systems, and supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting, and department budget to maximize revenue.
  • Communicate with guests and employees to answer questions, provide clear direction, and advise staff on work details.
  • Implement and monitor corporate/brand marketing programs.
  • Perform room inspections, which requires bending, stooping, reaching overhead, and moving throughout guest floors.
  • Assist with guest check-in/check-out and related guest service activities.
  • Perform other duties as requested, such as special guest requests.
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty program, requiring weekend stay-overs, constant monitoring, and troubleshooting problems.
Requirements:
  • Considerable knowledge of computer systems for registration, reservations, and backup systems.
  • Above-average mathematical comprehension to understand and interpret numbers as they apply to hotel operations.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with guests and employees.
  • Thorough organization and supervisory skills to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to develop subordinates to enhance advancement in the hotel and company.
  • Ability to analyze complex statistical data and make judgments accordingly.
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, requiring high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information, and resolve conflicts.
Expectations:
  • Regular attendance in conformance with established standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to specific standards.
  • Employee is required to take on the responsibility and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined by position and duties.
  • Comply with health and safety rules, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
