Position Overview:

Creighton University is looking for a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator II to join the School of Dentistry Clinic Team. The successful candidate will demonstrate empathy, adaptability, and a strong commitment to customer service.

This role serves as a vital patient liaison during clinic operations, ensuring efficient patient access, a positive clinical experience, and the smooth progression of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for scheduling patient appointments for pre-doctoral dental students within the clinic environment.
  • Manage patient admissions, assignments, and referrals.
  • Coordinate all appointments with assigned students based on clinic requirements.
  • Oversee the daily flow of students during clinic sessions.
  • Generate monthly reports, manage short call lists, send correspondence to patients, and handle emergency appointment scheduling.
  • Facilitate communication through faxes, letters, and records requests, ensuring all clinical communications are handled efficiently.
  • Promote a positive clinical experience for both patients and students.
Qualifications:

Bilingual candidates, particularly in Spanish, are preferred, though all applicants will be considered. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Successful candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to multitask, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
