Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Engineer to join our team at OMI Industries Inc. as an Odor Elimination Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships and driving sales for our Ecosorb Industrial brand in the Northeast region of the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with existing and potential customers to drive sales growth and expand our market share.
  • Use technical skills to explain the benefits of OMI solutions and services to potential customers and demonstrate how effective our products are.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as the needs and challenges of our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Service, R&D, and Sales, to create efficient systems for each customer that bring in sales for the company.
  • Travel to visit customers, trade shows, and corporate meetings/events to build relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to customers and internal stakeholders to explain the benefits of our products and services.
  • Manage and update customer information and leads in our CRM system.
  • Perform on-site visits to assess customer needs, demonstrate applications, and teach customers about our products and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3+ years sales experience, with a proven record of accomplishment of successful sales transactions.
  • Experience supporting a product line or division in another company selling technical products or services to industry.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Teams.
  • Proficient use of CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to write presentations, letters, and formulate proposals.
  • Collaborative approach with ability to lead across and communicate with all types of functions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-50% overnight, with occasional extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, talk, and hear.
  • Occasional need to climb, go onto roofs, and enter small spaces while on-site.
  • Must adhere to, evaluate, and act on safety protocols.
  • Must have a tolerance for the state of sites, including smell, odor, and dirt.
Work Environment

OMI Industries manufactures odor eliminating solutions. Chemical exposure to raw materials, including plant oils, fragrances, and other materials, will occur.
