Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our Facilities & Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage field operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage field operations for distributed generation projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure quality control, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to coordinate activities and resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Monitor the installation and commissioning of distributed generation components, including inverters, transformers, and energy storage systems.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and compliance records.
  • Assist in the development and review of project plans, ensuring all components meet regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to field staff and subcontractors regarding the installation and operation of power systems.
  • Implement best practices for construction processes, safety protocols, and environmental compliance.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing insights on field operations and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to distributed generation systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Field Engineer in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in distributed generation component power systems.
  • Strong knowledge of power systems, renewable energy technologies, and related regulations.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
