Department Overview:
The LifeFlight Event Medicine team operates within a dynamic environment, providing emergency medical services at various events. Our Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of attendees at both small and large gatherings.
Position Summary:
The AEMT - PRN is responsible for independently utilizing assessment skills to implement patient care protocols, delivering care within the full scope of practice as defined by state regulations. This role requires adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards while ensuring the safe transport of patients. Effective communication is essential for maintaining quality patient care during transport and handover processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough documentation of patient care and transport activities in compliance with established policies.
- Safely transport patients while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet patient needs and ensure optimal care.
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Technical Skills Required:
- Emergency Management: Basic proficiency in emergency management practices.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
- Patient Assessment: Competence in assessing and stabilizing patients under supervision.
- Knowledge of Drug Interactions: Understanding of medication interactions relevant to patient care.

Qualifications:
