Position: Low Voltage Cable Technician

Company: Next Level Technician

Overview: We are in search of skilled low voltage data technicians with a focus on structured cabling within commercial environments. This position is tailored for individuals with relevant experience looking to advance their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the pulling, termination, dressing, and labeling of CAT5e/6 cables
  • Perform installation and termination of fiber optic cables (preferred)
  • Conduct testing of all installed cabling using the necessary equipment
  • Set up and terminate racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, and firestopping systems
  • Interpret and analyze low voltage data layouts from technical blueprints

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial low voltage settings
  • Certifications such as BICSI, Lift, and OSHA are beneficial
  • Manufacturer-specific certifications are an advantage
