Job Overview

Our client, a well-established facilities services organization, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for providing support to employees at all levels in various HR areas, including staffing, employee relations, benefits administration, and training implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staffing and Recruiting
  • Employee Relations
  • I-9 Administration
  • Benefits Administration
  • Leave Administration
  • Coaching and Guiding Managers and Employees
  • Training Implementation and Administration
  • Workers' Compensation
  • Safety

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of HR Generalist experience in a small to medium-sized organization
  • Experience in at least 3 of the HR areas listed above
  • Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and ordinances
  • Experience administering payroll for primarily non-exempt and some union employees
  • Eagerness to get things done and work well in a team
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Union experience or exposure is a plus
