Senior Biological Researcher

Job Overview:
This position involves the production of clinical trial materials within a controlled cleanroom setting, adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Precision in following established protocols and thorough documentation are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting environmental monitoring (EM) within specialized laboratories, including oversight of airborne particulate levels and surface cleanliness.
  • Regularly assessing the operational status of cleanroom facilities based on EM data, with input from quality control management.
  • Ensuring laboratory equipment and surroundings are maintained in optimal condition, in compliance with GMP standards. This includes inventory management, sample logging, and hazardous waste oversight.

Salary Range:
$41,500 - $50,000

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in biology or a related discipline, along with three years of pertinent experience; alternatively, a Master's degree with one year of experience or a Doctoral degree in a relevant field is acceptable.


Preferred Skills:
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with cell therapy principles.
  • Experience with environmental monitoring equipment.
  • Background in a cGMP environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and maintain cleanliness in GMP facilities.
