Job Title: Site Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at McKinstry in Spokane, WA.

About the Role:

The Site Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring project success through on-site management of subcontractors and maintenance of client relationships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and updating project schedules
  • Approving daily work tickets
  • Reviewing submittals
  • Setting up and tearing down job site logistics
  • Coordination of work with trades, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Writing and reviewing scopes of work
  • Assisting Project Manager with bid procurement
  • Managing and closing out punch list activities in a timely manner
  • Communication with field personnel
  • Developing and maintaining logs and reports as required for project execution
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial Contractor experience
  • OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and/or Suretrak
  • Knowledge of construction management, commercial building process, and OSHA standards
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
  • Four (4) years of leadership of trades and job sites
  • BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Facilities Management or equivalent work experience
