Insurance Business Development Specialist

Position Overview
This role supports the Account Executive in client management and retention, focusing on new business development and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and upselling
- Utilize cold calls, emails, and networking to contact prospective clients and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Collaborate with the team to create custom programs and identify gaps in coverage
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in an insurance brokerage or carrier
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Consultative approach to client relationships
