Job OverviewFire Alarm System Specialist

About the Role:

As a Fire Alarm System Specialist at Steele Services Inc, you will be responsible for performing inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of fire protection systems. Our team serves New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency or after-hours service calls.
  • Use solid troubleshooting skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and replace defective parts.
  • Complete accurate and detailed service reports in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.


Requirements:

  • Available for paid, on-call duty one week a month.
  • Solid technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Must have a driver's license


Preferred Qualifications:

  • NICET certification
  • Knowledge of NFPA
