Job Title: Wire Transfer Specialist

Northfield Bank is a full-service bank with a rich history dating back to 1887. We are seeking a highly skilled Wire Transfer Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process incoming and outgoing wire transfers in accordance with wire transfer procedures.
  • Review and process high-dollar wire transfers over normal limits.
  • Maintain a file of monthly approved OFAC reports for the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Department.
  • Monitor compliance with Foreign Remitter rules.
  • Create and maintain wire notifications, fee profiles, drawdowns, recurring wire templates, and other related system maintenance.
  • Assist branches and customers with wire transfer questions.
  • Serve as backup for EIM Processing and Check/ACH Research Adjustments and Claims.
  • Respond to online Social Security Administration/Medicaid account verifications.
  • Provide assistance to the Deposit Operations team as required by work volumes.
