Our resort is located in a picturesque mountainous region, offering guests access to a beautiful reservoir surrounded by nature. This destination is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, providing a wide range of activities throughout the year, from hiking and biking to skiing and water sports. The resort features various amenities, including dining options, wellness facilities, and extensive event spaces.
Position Overview
Core Responsibilities
The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest accommodations to ensure an exceptional level of satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining an organized and well-stocked work cart.
- Inspecting linens and managing inventory.
- Utilizing cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently.
- Changing linens and remaking beds according to established standards.
- Ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitation of rooms and bathrooms, including all furnishings and fixtures.
- Realigning furniture to its original arrangement.
- Completing assignment sheets and reporting room status.
- Identifying and reporting safety hazards and maintenance issues.
- Adhering to lost and found protocols with utmost respect for guest property.
- Practicing safety standards and emergency procedures.
- Maintaining equipment and returning items at the end of each shift.
- Reporting damages and maintenance needs promptly.
- Exhibiting a courteous and helpful demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
This role requires frequent walking and lifting, with the ability to handle weights up to 70 lbs. Employees must be able to stand for extended periods and engage in various physical activities, including bending, reaching, and climbing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Positive and approachable personality.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capacity to follow instructions and manage time effectively.
The compensation for this position ranges based on qualifications and experience.
