KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversees initiatives to implement business strategies aimed at enhancing store performance and customer satisfaction.
- Directs and manages store functions including operations, merchandising, online content, inventory oversight, and promotional activities.
- Identifies and coordinates opportunities to boost customer engagement, enhance operational efficiencies, and achieve store goals.
- Ensures brand integrity through management of product presentation, customer experience, and overall store aesthetics.
- Analyzes sales patterns, inventory status, and product display to maximize sales outcomes.
- Evaluates and monitors staff performance through constructive feedback, training, and task delegation.
- Collaborates with internal teams to ensure successful execution of projects, promotions, launches, events, and overall operational support.
- Supports retail technology solutions through troubleshooting and quality assurance for all departmental software systems including Point of Sale, online commerce, and store-specific platforms.
- Ensures that issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved promptly, including root cause analysis. Defines functional and enhancement requirements for systems and processes.
- May assist with temporary store activations, as necessary.
- Ensures compliance with opening and closing protocols, inventory audits, inventory management procedures, and other operational standards.
- Generates reports and analyses of store performance and other reporting requirements.
- Manages direct operational expenses.
- Maintains relationships and expectations with external service providers.
- Stays informed about retail market trends, consumer behavior, customer feedback, and technological advancements.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Five or more years of relevant management experience, ideally in a flagship or high-profile retail environment.
- Strong leadership, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Robust operational expertise with the ability to ensure effective inventory, cash, and cost management.
- Capability to implement operational strategies that support marketing efforts, customer experience, brand standards, and sales objectives.
- Proven project management experience in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to identify key business metrics and work with cross-functional teams to create plans that drive results.
- Proficient in MS Office and Point-of-Sale systems; experience with Oracle is preferred.
- Familiarity with Nintendo franchise characters and intellectual property. Experience in the video game industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
