Human Resources Specialist

HR Generalist - myGwork
Become an integral part of our dynamic team at myGwork, dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ professionals and allies. As an HR Generalist, you will be pivotal in delivering essential support to leadership, management, and team members. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and the HR team to provide valuable services and foster a positive workplace culture. This role encompasses onboarding new team members, managing employment processes, addressing employee relations matters, and implementing HR enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and interpretation of HR policies
- Ensure a welcoming onboarding experience for new team members
- Offer responsive assistance to employees regarding inquiries and concerns
- Work alongside management to cultivate a strong organizational culture
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to align with business objectives
- Conduct exit interviews to enhance the employee experience
- Address employee relations challenges and partner with HR Business Partners to resolve issues
- Evaluate and provide recommendations on current HR policies and programs
- Maintain employee records, HR administrative processes, and documentation
- Support recruitment efforts as necessary
Essential Knowledge / Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with HR laws and regulations
- Ability to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to build effective business relationships
- High level of initiative and responsiveness
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with HR systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Background in the games or entertainment industry
- Previous involvement in HR initiatives
