Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Ark Healthcare & Rehabilitation at St. Camillus Center, Fairfield County's premier 124 bed LTC and Rehabilitation Center.

Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and attention.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care delivery
  • Develop and implement effective nursing policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care
  • Conduct regular quality assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient charts and staff performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans
  • Provide guidance and support to new employees and students on rotation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing/long term care facility setting
  • Previous experience as a nurse leader or supervisor preferred
  • Current RN license in the State of Connecticut
  • CPR/IV certification
