About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Senior Nurse Practitioner - Elder Care Specialist.

Job Overview

This is a full-time opportunity to work with our residents, providing high-quality nursing care in a warm and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Nursing Assessment and Planning: Accurately assess, communicate, and document residents' status to ensure timely and effective interventions.
  • Care Coordination: Direct and supervise daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants and closely mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants.
  • Case Management: Coordinate care needs with community providers through an effective case management process.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and personal emergency response systems, knowing when to call for backup.
Requirements:
  • Licensure: Current state license as an RN and CPR certification.
  • Education: Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements).
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred, with previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position highly desirable.
