Position Overview:
Since its establishment in 2004, The GEO Group has been a pivotal partner in providing intensive supervision for individuals involved in immigration proceedings. Our programs are integral to ensuring compliance and support for participants, utilizing a blend of effective case management and advanced supervision technologies. We collaborate with a wide array of community partners to address the essential needs of our participants, ensuring positive outcomes and continual program growth.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree is mandatory, preferably in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service or case management is essential; experience in law, social work, detention, corrections, or with multicultural clients is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary, along with the ability to operate a vehicle safely for home visits.
- Must pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must have resided in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad included).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interactions with employees, community contacts, government officials, and participants. Ability to interpret and convey rules, orders, instructions, and materials effectively.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
- Ability to engage tactfully with the public and handle multicultural interactions with sensitivity.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial.
- Basic understanding of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures is beneficial.
- Proficient computer skills are necessary for data entry and case record maintenance.

Working Environment:
This position typically operates in an office setting, with some local travel required. Standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, and telephones will be utilized. The role may involve physical activities such as bending and stooping to install monitoring equipment and conducting home visits.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Case Manager, you will:

- Oversee the case management of participants in the Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) from entry to release, adhering to the program's policies as defined by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
- Develop, implement, and review individual service plans for participants, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with participants as required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records for all participants throughout their involvement in the program.
- Conduct intake interviews and orientation sessions within required timeframes.
- Install and monitor electronic monitoring equipment as necessary.
- Assist participants in obtaining necessary travel documents and maintain a log of this information.
- Evaluate participants' English proficiency and coordinate translation services as needed.
- Connect participants with community resources for various needs including transportation, medical, educational, and legal services.
- Supervise participants during office visits and establish schedules for necessary appointments.
- Conduct home visits to verify residency and ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Perform emergency counseling as required and maintain relationships with community translation resources.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

Compensation:
Pay is set at USD $20.26 per hour.
