Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a qualified Water Resources Engineer to fulfill the following responsibilities:
  • Draft, develop, organize, and assess project studies, reports, and design documentation for water resources initiatives.
  • Provide field services and oversee construction for water resources projects, including dams, levees, streams, and lakes.
  • Mentor and cultivate junior engineers to become proficient water resource modelers, designers, planners, and project managers.
  • Engage in public speaking concerning civil engineering water resources projects.
The role will involve participation in various water resource projects, such as hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, stream restoration, flood reduction design, water quality enhancement, and watershed-scale planning and studies.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in water resources engineering, ideally within the Midwest.
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • ND Professional Engineer's License or the capability to secure one within six months.
  • A strong interest in leadership and ongoing personal development.
  • A valid driver's license and readiness to travel as needed.
  • Must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship in the future.
